This is a prototype with very limited content. I appreciate any kind of feedback which helps me decide on the right direction / improvements.

Key Defense

Key Defense is a minimalist incremental tower defense game with meta progression and the twist that you move along your real keyboard to collect power ups during the attack waves.

Defend with every finger

Place your defense, start a new wave and look for power ups appearing on your keys. Use your real keyboard to collect power ups boosting your defense and your run.

Improve, adapt, overcome

Use the meta progression tree to upgrade your defense and make your life easier. Try out different strategies to finish off the levels thrown at you.

Pretty good game for what is currently there right now. I don't really have any complaints about what's here right now, as the gameplay works well with the unique mechanic.

Some ideas I think would be cool, but aren't necessary would be a sort of projectile-like enemy that would fly past and tries to hit you but doesn't 1 shot you so there is more danger on levels like level 2, an enemy that instead of killing you will try to burrows and traps a key on your keyboard, and a tower that when placed lets you use your own cursor to attack (you can only place one and it would be a bit expensive).

Overall, the game's good, and there are most definitely a lot of cool visual and gameplay things you can do with this, so good job on what's here so far.

Thank you very much for the feedback! I will definitely consider those enemy types and especially like the idea of laying traps on keys in later levels. So far I was also considering to add player cursor attacks via the upgrade tree but having to build a tower for this is a great idea!
